Piston Seals

Piston Seals, also known as D-seals due to their 'D' shaped cross-section, are crucial components in hydraulic systems. These seals perform fluid leakage prevention by creating a tight seal between the piston and cylinder bore to enable reliable system operation. The 'D' shaped design enables optimal sealing because the flat surface faces the piston and the curved side against the cylinder bore.

While primarily engineered for dynamic sealing in reciprocating applications, D-seals can also function effectively in static sealing scenarios, which involve preventing leakage between stationary surfaces.
